As children many of us want to be astronauts, movie stars, or one of the many fictional characters that surrounded our childhood. Whether it was Ariel, or Spiderman the dreams that we felt were endless.
When do we realize that real life isn’t like that? What age do we stop following what we feel is what will make us happy, and start following paths neatly set out for us?
One of the most important things in my life is being given the option to go to university and study exactly what I have always wanted. But what if I wasn’t so lucky? What if I felt pressure to do something that my parents felt to be successful, that would bring me only monetary success?
This is a documentary that is all about opening up and realizing that it is never too late to do something you always dreamed of doing. Whether it’s learning to fly airplanes, or perform on stage in front of a lot of people. Following the lives of three different people in the business of Princess parties, audiences are shown how different each of the main characters is, but how the all connect with one another through what they have deemed the “Princess Mafia”. These people are becoming what many kids dream of, yet they are searching for that something that they dream of.
Through opening up about their own lives, and the struggles each has you have the audience is encouraged to look at their own lives and figure out if what they are doing right then in that very moment is something that they would feel happy about doing forever.
Stepping out of their comfort zones, meeting friends from other countries, realizing that you are never too young to go after what you dreamed of. You don’t want to be that person living in regret and think what would have happened if I had just tried.
If you died tomorrow, would you be content with how you lived your life?
"A dream is a wish you heart makes…." But it only stays a dream until you make it your reality.
